STXi is a youth led organization dedicated to empowering the youth of our community to embrace their identity, celebrate their cultural roots, and explore the strength found in rural upbringing. Through our annual conferences, we provide a platform for young voices to engage with inspiring leaders and foster a sense of belonging, self awareness, and pride in who they are. Together, we aim to create a space where individuality is celebrated, and our unique stories are shared to inspire future generations. As our tenth year of celebrating the youth of our community approaches, we hope to see you contribute to the impact of STXi.

This STXi festival will be held on April 24th at South Texas College where six inspirational community leaders and local figures give a TED style talk to the youth of the Valley that revolves around a common message, the youth are both the future and present of South Texas. Our team of our bright, passionate youth have begun to prepare for the festival in the fall semester by preparing a lineup of speakers and combining a wide range of talents such as activity planning, fundraising, social media managing, communication, and many more community building skills.

CULTURE

Community

After hosting our first festival in 2017, this STXi festival marks a decade of our ability to empower the youth by amassing a large audience of young people and adults from all over the Valley. Although STXi has been around for 10 years, we are still working our to achieve our goal and uniting the community of South Texas!
